Dear ANPA Members, Partners, Friends, and Family,
In the wake of the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, we at the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) extend our heartfelt condolences to all affected by this catastrophic event. Our thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones, those who have been displaced, and the communities struggling to rebuild.
Hurricane Helene is the deadliest hurricane to strike US mainland since hurricane Katrina in 2005! So far, the death toll has reached 227 and counting.
As an organization dedicated to improving healthcare and supporting our local communities, ANPA is mobilizing to provide aid and assistance in the affected areas. We are committed to working alongside local authorities, medical professionals, and humanitarian organizations to offer our expertise, resources, and medical supplies to help alleviate the suffering caused by this disaster.
